Wildlife Central India

At present Central India is most popular tourist destination for wildlife lover due to its present floura & fauna. Here in Bandhavgarh National Park one can have assured tiger sighting because it has highest tiger density in India. At the same time here we can see unmatched scenic beauty in Kanha National Park. Bandhavgarh lies in Vindhyachal mountain ranges whereas Kanha park lies in Maikal ranges. Both mountain ranges are older than Himalayan mountains. Animals found here are Tiger, leopard, spotted deer, mouse deer, hyena, Gaur(Indian Bison), wild dogs, four horned deers, swamp deer, more than 200 species of birds. Swamp Deers are main attraction of Kanha National Prak as this is their last natural habitat. In ancient times Rinocerous are also found in Central India. One can still find their pictures in rock-painting of Madhya Pradesh.
In border of Madhya Pradesh and Maharashtra, Pench national park is situated which is also known as mowgli's land. Rudyard Kipling's Jungle Book is inspired from same Pench national park. This park is more popular for good bird sighting, herd of gaurs, near to Nagpur city, ambushed attacks of leopards in this area.
Close to Khajuraho, one have an opportunity of visiting Panna national park. But in recent days tourists attraction of this park is declined due to series of poaching activities in this park and it results to difficult tiger sighting in this park. Due to which now a days tourists have began to overlook this park. Here one can find nice scenic beauty, waterfalls, gharial-reserve in Ken River.
